I am an apprentice, daily tasks include track inspection walks, learning while on faults and also general day to day work within the business
Yes I have learnt many of new skills within this position anjd look forward to learning more over the remaining 2 years
Heavily enjoy the programme and the different aspects it can bring.
I feel exteremely valued by network rail and am shown mutual respect on a daily basis with each person willing tro share experiances with me.
can be a little confusing at times but overall works well.
During studies I receive a lot of support as and when it is needed/ wanted.
lots again as and when needed
as an older person my costs are higher with having a small family and property to maintain, while working on shifts it is okay as I recive night enhancements which can bump the monthly package up but if left on a day shifts I will struggle for the following month or so .
not sure how to answer this as only at the beginning of my apprenticeship.
Yes
extremely worthwhile company with much time to teach and pass on knowledge.
Be yourself and allow yourself the opportunity to learn new things.
