  • I am an apprentice,daily tasks include track inspection walks, learning while on faults and also general day to day work within the business

  • Yes I have learnt many of new skills within this position anjd look forward to learning more over the remaining 2 years

  • Heavily enjoy the programme and the different aspects it can bring.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Network Rail?
  • I feel exteremely valued by network rail and am shown mutual respect on a daily basis with each person willing tro share experiances with me.

  • can be a little confusing at times but overall works well.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • During studies I receive a lot of support as and when it is needed/ wanted.

  • lots again as and when needed

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • as an older person my costs are higher with having a small family and property to maintain, while working on shifts it is okay as I recive night enhancements which can bump the monthly package up but if left on a day shifts I will struggle for the following month or so .

  • not sure how to answer this as only at the beginning of my apprenticeship.

  • Yes

  • extremely worthwhile company with much time to teach and pass on knowledge.

  • Be yourself and allow yourself the opportunity to learn new things.
