My role as a telecoms engineer is to provide and repair communication services for service providers on behalf of the end users.
Many, including being trained on how to do many active things and also on safety and interacting with customers. I have gained more confidence in myself within my role and at home.
I enjoy all aspects of work it can be challenging but I get a lot of satisfaction out of resolving problems.
Very valued by all parties.
it is structured well and I get time out of work to complete the IT based work within my apprenticeship.
I get supported by my collegues and line manager. There is always someone on the phone to help me if I am stuck and a person willing to lend a hand if required. Very good team ethic.
as above there is lots of support networks for myself including health support and someone to speak to.
Currently the salary is ok, but once fully qualified with overitime this will help me achieve my goals of moving out.
There are some opportunities such as at Christmas but no other social or leisure events.
Yes
Overall attitude of everyone and the work ethic make this a good company to learn and grow.
Give it a go! great employer with more good days than bad and always learning as no two days are the same.
