My job title is Apprentice. On Mondays I attend College to complete my National Certificate. From Tuesday to Thursday we are currently doing Aircraft Fitting, which involves starting the day with a Daily Start Up Meeting (DSUM) to report any safety issues and tool control. Wew then work the rest of the day producing assessment pieces to be marked by our instructor. We are currently producing a Butt-Strap.

I thoroughly enjoy my programme as I am constantly learning on the job and picking up new skills. I also enjoy the atmosphere in the workplace as my colleagues also enjoy their work and we work well in team tasks
I do feel valued at BAE Systems due to the positive feedback from instructors concerning my work as well as positive Probationary Reviews.
I feel that the programme is well structured as we have plenty of time to finish the necessary work.
I recieve all the support I need from my training provider. I also recieve positive feedback during inspection stages.
I recieve support from my instructor on a day to day basis, as well as support from probationary reviews every 3 months
My salary package adequately covers my living costs.
