my role is to remake faulty joints and connections within the network this involved removal of some old wet joints and blocks at the top of poles also changing cable lengths
I have learnt a lot of new skills such as climbing poles, gas testing using an exfo tester for carrying out self install tasks how to remove box lids correctly
I have enjoyed every minute of the programme as it has challenged me
I feel that my contribution to the company has been noticed and that I have made a difference
well I have found it to be very well organised and the way that it has been set out has been very helpful to me as I have been able to see what is required
I received all the help that I needed and requested
my employer was very keen to make sure that any help they could give was there if and when requested
it has met all my needs
there are plenty of opportunities if you look for them and want them
Yes
they have made me feel welcome and have shown me a new trade and have encouraged me to push myself
go for it and be yourself there is plenty of opportunities for progression and the company will back you if you want to go further
