1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Helping clients with corporate tax issues. This can range from making sure that their tax compliance is performed correctly and on time, but also advising on any restructuring tax implications, and tax planning.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I am challenged on a day to day basis and am offered training coureses throughout the year. The nature of the work is that I am surounded by people with lots of experience who I can also ask for advice from, and learn from.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is excellent, and gives me new opportunities to build my confidence and knowledge every day.

4. How valued do you feel by Deloitte?

Very valued. However they can be tough without leniance if I were to fail any exams.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well structured, however being one of the first school leavers in my office can sometimes mean that people are now aware that I am on a different programme.

I receive a good amount of support from my training manager.

My employer gives me an excellent level of support.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

I am currently living at home so my salary covers my living costs and more. There is opportunity to progress quickly.

Yes, there are lots of opportunities to get involved in out of work activities.

They invest a large amount of time and resources into the training of their employees, and company has a good enjoyable culture of support and inclsion.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte?

Show a good attitute to learning, and be prepared to work hard to get the most out of your career. And remember to get a balance.
