My role in Aldi is apprentice deputy manager, on a day to day basis my job involves different things such as having the safe, point of sales, promotions, availability, making sure the members of staff are doing there jobs right, being on the till, taking all the loose cardboard off the shop floor, replenishing stock.
I have learnt a lot in my time at Aldi such as becoming a team player, communicating with others, first aid, job responsibilities being a manager
I enjoy my program loads due to the great members of staff that I work with, managers are the best just all good round enjoyment
I feel very valued by Aldi can get a phone call asking me to come in earlier or on my days off, getting asked to work in other stores.
My programme is very structured because my tutors will organise visits round my work Rota and around management so on a busy day such as a Friday or Monday she doesn't come whereas on a Tuesday or Wednesday she will turn up.
I receive full support from my training providers they will be there for me when there's a problem or if i need help with something.
I receive full support from my employer if I have any queries about anything they will guide me about what's right and wrong.
My wage is fantastic for an apprentice well above minimum wage it's a great start for somebody if they are looking to get into management.
There are loads of opportunities outside work Aldi have a benefit website for people who work there and they get utilities cheaper, days out, technology.
