I work as a store assistant on the shop floor, I put out stock and help customers. Due to my age I am not yet till trained but I will be within a few months.
Yes I have learnt many new skills, mainly skills that are retail based, such as stock rotation. But i also have devolved on my social skills and interaction skills, as well as team working.
I enjoy it thoroughly, it gives me something to do and keeps me active.
I feel very valued, the company is very good at making everyone feel like cogs in a very large clock.
The programme itself is structured very well, I have had a few problems with organising dates on which my mentor comes to visit, however this should stop as my manager has had a word with the company.
As much as needed, he always is active on his email and he provides all the information i need to help with the programme
A lot, my employer has always been there to help, she is very good at making me improve on my weaknesses and strengths, and has always kept me feeling like I accomplish something.
It meets every cost, as I dont have any outgoing bills the money is all extra, and it pays very well
Yes there are a few.
