Running the shop floor, working deliveries, specials, dates and other store paperwork
Working in a large team with others and learning how to manage a group of people
I like the apprenticeship company and the retail qualification however it doesn’t always link to Aldi. I like the store and the people I work with massively.
Not at all the company doesn’t offer me enough hours or pay compared to new starters who earn more than me and have less responsibility. Which makes me feel undervalued. I also don’t get any work perks and the apprenticeship doesn’t match my job role in anyway along with communication between Aldi and the apprenticeship provider is also poor.
The apprenticeship provider is great however it doesn’t always link to my job making it hard. The communication between the two however isn’t great.
A lot they are fantastic [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] has done a lot to help me get it done early.
A lot the store managers help me in every way possible along with supporting me fully in the job.
Okay it doesn’t allow me to save a lot as I don’t get paid as much as year one starters which isn’t great. But in terms of transport it fine.
Nope.
Yes
It’s a great company in terms of my store and the people I work with. However I wouldn’t recommend the apprenticeship based on the pay, hours, lack off staff perks. If it wasn’t for the people I work with I wouldn’t enjoy my job as much.
Make sure you have plenty of free time and are fully committed to working hours and supporting the team and store you work with.
