I work in audit helping team members with testing and walkthroughs with the client. I get hands on experience doing the same work that a graduate would do and all work has a real impact on the over-all audit.
Excel skills, Written and Verbal communication, Presentation, Team work, Organisation, Leadership.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship as everyday is different with new skills to be learnt each day.
I feel very valued at KPMG with all senior people I have worked with praising me for my work and changing everything into a learning experience for me. Everyone also listens to your own needs and are happy to work around anything happening in your personal life.
The programme is very well organised with weekly updates and reminders of anything that needs to be done.
I receive a lot support from my training provider, BPP regularly email to check that your revision is going well and that you don't have any questions.
KPMG apprenticeship management are always there to help and answer any questions you have. My performance Manager regally checks on us to see of you we are all okay.
The salary is very fair however sometimes with the extra hours it doesn't seem worth.
There are a lot of opportunities including training and opportunities to go back to your old school.
