Assistant manager. Assist general manager and team.
Yes. Expanded knowledge on leadership and management styles and communication
After a rocky start with my regional trainer leaving and no communication regarding issue, once resolved and new RT assigned become a positive experience.
Average
Not very well. Seemed to be lack of communication from GK and lifetime. Lifetimes regional trainer I was assigned part way through the programme was however amazing!
As previously stated initially was not impressed and felt let down and that it wasn’t professional. But once the issue was straightened out it was a positive one
GM offered support when I asked.
It doesn’t. Impact is I’ve made changes in my personal life
Live in a sparse area so would move for the right job with a different employer or company.
No
Work life balance isn’t great. Part of parcel in hospitality but haven’t previously worked for someone where my work life balance and relationships have suffered as much as they have in Greene King. I also feel as good as the apprenticeships are. More could be done to motivate and reward staff and recognise them.
There are good progression opportunities but have realistic conversations about work and life balance and well being
