I work in a call centre advising people on their home insurance.
Yes I have learnt the different processes that affect the business as a whole which in turn reflects on how I explain things to customers.
I enjoy the program, I think it is able to give me a perspective I would otherwise not be able to realise.
Very valued, I know they acknowledge me as an individual and value any ideas I can bring to the table.
I have had a more difficult experience with the program. Overall I have had 3 mentors which means I have had long gaps in between meetings. This has meant I have not yet completed my apprenticeship despite being signed on in 2016 and it taking a year maximum.
I only met my first one once, to sign me up. The second sent was lovely, really helpful, cheerful and really helped if I didn't understand anything. I have yet to meet my third in person.
They are very supportive, they can see how this improves on my skills and so the business meaning they allow me to take time to do any work set and to meet the providers.
Very well
There are a lot of opportunities I can take, I mainly focus on volunteering with charities. This can be supported, and even funded, by LBG.
Yes
They are the most supportive company I have ever worked for. I am someone who does not have many qualifications and even the fact they offer this apprenticeship is something that is so appreciative.
Don't be afraid to stand out, they value any individual ideas you may have.
