The role we do within our apprenticeship programme is all about helping customers. The role consists of being respectful to customer and sometimes will need to adapt yourself to their kind of way. E.G if you get a customer who has problems hearing or is not so good with technology you just need to be supportive. you will get customers who will be angry and also happy but you need to control yourself because this is apart of your job
The skills I have learnt are being more in control and not to talk slang to the customers. also when someone is feeling abit emotional you need to adapt yourself to them and try and make them feel comfortable
to be honest I really like this apprenticeship programme because it has helped me gaining more knowledge and brings out the inner self e.g coming out of your comfort zone
Everyone at Santander is great. the atmosphere here is good. working in a environment like this should be what a working place should be like.
the way this programme is set out I think is quite helpful. because e.g. we will have a number of weeks of training in the classroom and then wel go onto the floor and put in all the work into practice.
When In the training rooms we receive a lot of support from the training providers. if we are struggling on anything the trainer is always here to help us. so far we are al doing well which shows how much we have learnt
I think the support we receive from the employer is good and all are treated fairly
as this is my first proper job. I think the apprenticeship salary is quite good because no other apprenticeship pay a salary like the one we earn which is quite good.
There are many opportunity's outside of work within this role. you can. move to many different departments such as going into branch as well in a customer facing enviroment
Yes
why? because this job is quite amazing. everyone you meet here always has a smile on their face. the atmosphere here is good.
