My role at the moment is a customer service advisor accredited however am going through training for personal banking advisor. My day to day roles downstairs inlcude serving customers on the counter, using the ipads to service customers so they don't have to wait in the queue, promote the IDM's by actively taking customers to it and showing how it works. I do the end of night for the IDM and the TCD also.
Yes, I am now participating in savings interviews which is good as I am able to have a deeper conversation with customers.
I enjoyed the programme as it was great to have the extra support and time with my trainer.
I feel valued by Lloyds Banking Group as they take care of staff and the benefits and packages staff can receive is brilliant.
The programme was good, however I think some restructuring of the course layout could be better.

I have been doing school visits to teach younger people about banking and how important savings are. I think children trust me more also because I am young so they are more engaged.

I would recommend lloyds banking group to friends as it is a rewarding workplace and plenty of opportunites to progress.
Be enthusiastic, you need to have a customer service head on and have patience for elderly customers.
