I have gathered many technical skills in regards to systems analysis and design, having completed several internal training courses, and having access to many high quality external training resources
A priority of mine is to develop technical skills, and gain the personal and collaborative skills in regards to being a technology professional and I have the opportunity to do this daily. So far as I have seen, there is literally no better opportunity through which I could accomplish this, I am so happy everyday I come to work.
Very much so, I haven't been shielded from responsibilities, or from opportunities to make a significant impact, the projects I work on are not solely designed to develop my skills, but also solve real business problems for their stakeholders
I think the structure of the program is optimal, and due to the nature of the company; support, coaching, mentoring, and all aspects of development are a focus for all of its employees, and as an apprentice I too partake of this. Additionally it is clear that everything from the selection of team I was placed in, my manager, and the projects I get the opportunity to work on are very well considered to optimise my development and advance me in the organisation.
Both academic support and learning Support from the university is good, it is clear that they take the quality and availability of the support they deliver to students very seriously
Advancing development is one of the key principles of the organisation, and it really shows. My relationship with my manager is warm and friendly, I feel comfortable approaching her for support when necessary.
Conveniently for me I was local already, so have many local friends and commute from relatively close and commute on foot
Voluntary initiatives, training courses, football, running, plenty quality apprentice social nights organised by the company. And due to the high number of apprentices in the cohort, many casually arranged apprentice socials
