I am in my 2nd year of my apprenticeship which now i have leared the store assistant role and have gone onto learning the management side of it.
i have learnt many new skills from simple ones like working in a team and delivering excellent customer service to managing people in my team also throughout gaining more confidence.
i enjoy my programme the stress does sometimes show but that happens in all areas of work that is something that you learn to over come.
I am valued by the staff i work with and my area manager who takes interest in my apprenticeship and wishes for me to do well and also store manager who help in anyway they can.
The stucture of the programme is something im not exactly satisfied on as it feels like 80% of the actual apprenticeship work is done from home and not seeing a tutor often is something that i personally disagree with as i think they should be more involed
I recieve alot of support if i need or ask for it but as states in the previous question i would prefer to see my tutor more regularly
My employer give alot of support whenever i need it.
In my apprenticeship as a 17yo i cannot complain about my salary as im earning more that i would in most regular jobs however it is frustrating doing the exact same job as others but getting paid less then them but its worth it in the end when i also come out with a qualification.
personally none that i have come across so far. I would like to see more opportunities in a variety of different jobs/business not just retail as i am young and yet to figure out what i want to do also the experience in different places opens up more opportunities.
Yes
Aldi is a great company to work for with great benefits to its employers. It also has great opportunities if you want to move up.
My advice would be prepare for the fast pace environment but other than that enjoy
