  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • This year my role is to perfect the store assistant role, meaning I have to learn every single role required by our store assistants. For example replenishing produce or working a ambient delivery. As well as the basic roles I'm frequently involved in being given small management task to start to give me a taste of what is to come next year, for example dates and off sales.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I believe that I have been able to develop my communication and people skills during my time here, from dealing with customer enquires to communicating with other members of staff. Futhermore I believe I have developed team skills as we are frequently put into callenging situations as a team.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme, every day I come into work from both the practical side and academic side of the programme. I get on with my tutor and enjoy the work I am set, in addition to this I enjoy the day to day jobs im set in store and am excited to learn the new aspects of my job role next year!

  • First year has been difficult meeting my cost.
