I am an apprentice deputy manager and I do all aspects of retail from till work to stock, placing orders to running safe shifts.
Before working for Aldi I had no idea how the retail process worked but in my 2 and a half years working for the company I have become a very competent worker in all parts of retail
At the start I used to love what I was doing as I was learning and working, however the last 6 months or so since my training has been completed but I'm still classed as an apprentice working as a deputy manager getting layer less than the stock and store assistants it got rather stale
At the start of my apprenticeship I felt very valued but as they kept adding work load to myself and other hard workers and leaving people who where slacking to do bear minimum you mind of feel belittled
The program I had was well structured however in the second year the company leading my training went into liquidation leaving me without training for 3 months and then when they replaced that company 2 or 3 months later it happened again so it seemed chaotic but at the same time I passed my entire course
Despite the company who were training me going into liquidation twice I kept the same accessor lady and she was very supportive during my training
In terms of practical experience they taught me all I know but I had to get the theory or knowledge side from my accessor
If it wasn't for me having a partner and sharing the costs I wouldn't have been able to take this apprenticeship
I don't get what this Question is asking.
Yes
As a retailer they are very demanding yet rewarding and there wage is one of the best if your not an apprentice
Work hard and communicate with you store manager as much as you can.
