I am a fragrance apprentice at Unilever. My day to day job being the assessment of fragrance across the Unilever laundry fragrance portfolio and designing experiments within the fragrance space to optimise our mixes.
I have learnt how to be organised, interact with others in a professional way whilst communicating my views.
I enjoy my work along with attending university as I have the opportunity to utilise my skills.
Within my current role I feel appreciated. I have also been internally recognised within previous roles I have had within Unilever. But it is sometimes a struggle not being in work all the time to complete targets set.
The support network of apprentices and managers around me is generally great. My programme being focused on fragrance was very channelled and easy to follow as I have allocated teams to work for.
I receive ample support from my internal line manager and my academic advisor in university. They are generally accessible my email and they will take the time to speak to me in person with regards to any issues I am facing.
Ample support.
My salary and benefits packages is great for the position I am in, allows me to live comfortably whilst having a social life.
There could be further sport clubs. Plenty of volunteering opportunities within the apprenticeship community.

Well paid and you are valued.
Don't stress and learn a little bit about the environmental initiatives that Unilever are engaging in.
