My role of Facilities Assisstant involves working daily with the Site Facilities Team, helping to sustain a safe environment for all Residents, Contractors and Visitors by ensuring the building is well maintained and managed to a high standard. I have been given the responsibility of organising and facilitating the Safety Mailbox for three days a week with the support of the Health and Safety Administrator.
I have been given many oppertunites to develop my existing skills and put them to use along with building my confidence. I have completed various online learning courses which have also been useful.
My managers and the team I work with on a daily basis are highly supportive of my learning which has helped a great deal. I have enjoyed my apprenticeship so far and am looking forward to completing Level 3.
I feel my workis highly appreciated by my manager and they value me as an employee.
I have been set various projects/tasks and had learning plans put in place for me since the beginning of my apprenticeship, it is very organised.
I didn't feel I received very much support from my original Assessor nor did they keep me up to date with my work. Since I have had a new Assessor, I am achieving at a faster rate and have much better support towards me and my work.
I receive excellent support from my manager towards my learning and training.
