During this program, in the first week, you work on team building exercises and being a good leader. This is to help you get a qualification equivalent to a GCSE. The next week is all about doing work experience at the EY offices. They are a number of different categories that you can get put into. You are given professional tasks, you go into meetings, you get metors to help you and much more.
I learnt how to cooperate in a team with complete strangers and working efficiently in the working world.
I enjoyed it very much. It was nerve racking at first but at the end of it it was really fun.
I felt quite valued at EY because things were very well prepared for me and I felt very included.
The program was organised quite well. Everyday had its own tasks and it was well planned.
I received a lot of support from my training provider. She made sure we stayed on task and whenever, we had questions, she would help us with it.
Our employer supported us through their staff, resources and funding
The salary met the costs very well.
Yes there are many opportunities. After the program is over, EY still send you a lot of opportunities to boost yourself and your CV.
Yes
I worked with a variety of new and different people. It was a lot of fun and you learn a lot. The work experience was also quite challenging but really educational and helpful for those who want to get in the world of work.
Make sure you are ready to be sociable and work in groups.
