The busy days consist of a mixture of till work as well as shop floor work.
During the apprenticeship I have been able to learn all about how to provide good customer service, how to work as a team more effectively to ensure all the jobs get done and finally how to utilise my time better to ensure that more jobs can get done.
I am enjoying the programme ,it is really interesting to be able to learn all about the job practically through the tills and shop floor, but also though the workbooks too which you complete with your trainer. They both compliment each other allowing you to do you job more effectively and improve.
I do feel valued by aldi, they do expect you to work hard but do compensate with how much they pay you in return.
It is organised and structured as you do have regularly meetings with your trainer to ensure you are on track with you work
I receive lots of support from my training provider. This is because they always available to help either through email, text or phone call. They also provide meetings either face to face or through a call about once a month to ensure I am on track.
I do feel supported by my employer as they are willing to do anything for me to ensure that I am able to complete my apprenticeship, they also are interested to find out about how I am doing with it.
The salary meets my needs at the moment.
There is a lot of opportunities outside of work.
Yes
They are a good company to work for, that do work you hard but pay well in return . It is also a good appreneticeship to do especially if you have no experience like me or very little experience in retail.
Go for this oppuntity, dont believe everything you read, make your own judgements. If you believe it will suit you go for it and enjoy it. Don't worry about things like your speed and tills like i did at the start as you get trained up for it. The staff are extremely welcoming and are willing to help you with anything.
