My job title is called Telecommunications service technician. My daily tasks are soliving faults to do with Virgin media's Equipment like their Tv box's, Internet box's and telephone lines. I will come across all different types of people when fixing faults that they have called in for, as well as dealing with my manager, field coach and network engineers who are all there to help. I have responsibility to resolve peoples faults in the safest way possible by applying Virgin Media's health and safety policy.
I have learnt alot more people skills and how to come across for each different personality that i come across. I will get a level three qualification when i complete the cause. I had a City and guilds training course to help me to be safe when needing to close a road for safety reasons.

Now the new company has taken over the support is instant and very good, before very little replies and support.
My manager and field coach as well as my team are all very very supportive and will help me whenever they can.
Salary is competitive along with bonus and overtime is really good too.

Very friendly working environment, Little stress, Good pay, Great benefits, every day is the same but every day is different. The day to day life in virgin media is really good and i would recommend to anyone who is looking to take on a new challenge.
Ask for help if you're not sure, the team you'll be in will help you and won't have ago at your for asking. Listen and concentrate on training days as the more you take in and remember the easier it will be for you when you start.
