My job entails answering calls at the front line of one of the nations leading home insurance providers. My day-to-day responsibilities include answering customer queries, making amendments and handling customer complaints.
I have developed my communication skills greatly. I have also gained an ability to respond well under pressure and handle my time efficiently. I have also gained valuable knowledge of the insurance industry through achieving cert CII.
I love the people I work with. I also love how my company give opportunities to progress and develop further exam knowledge.
I do feel valued by Direct line. I feel they always take into account the well being of employees. They are good at rewarding individuals for hard work as well.
It is fairly well organised. There have been a number of issues a long the way however, which can all be excused for the fact that I am part of the first group of apprentices within my department. There have been some conflicting interests between the company and our college.
I receive all the support I require from my training provider, however I do find I prefer to work independently.

I scrape by. I feel that although my wage could definitely improve, I am responsible enough to understand the qualifications DLG are supporting me with are more valuable for my career than complaining about the salary at this point.
I don't believe so.
