my job is a phone representative and an apprentice. my daily tasks vary depending on what I have been assigned in the morning. my daily tasks consist of answering phones to answer our clients queries, answering emails with the clients queries and concerns, logging post which any third party have sent us to make sure they go to the relevant team within my department. my daily interactions internally consists of asking questions with the regarding the claims to the relevant teams, speaking with managers whoa re able to answer my questions with also suggesting another approaches. my daily interactions externally consists of speaking with renters and third parties while being able to answer their questions to the highest standards.
I have been able to work on my qualifications which I aim to be completing my August 2018 in business administration but also I have learned how to manage work loads much better than I had when I first started. I have been on training with my team learning the role and also being able to mentor our new started when requested by management. I have learned personally to develop a working relationship and also being able to manage multiple tasks which have been set by my coordinators.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every part of the program I am on from working with a phenomenal team with such a diversity of people within the company. from the moment I started to present I have always had high expectations for the course I am on and for the company and the company have definitely lived up to this and more with being able to discuss where I want to progress to and with such a range of training courses.
within my team I feel valued because my team know if there is any form of question in relation to most claims I am able to assist without assistance of management as I have a high knowledge relation to this. I feel appreciated by my managers and also coordinators because they always show in our PDM (personal development meetings- monthly) how well I am doing and also will address any concerns I have along with where I can improve.
At the beginning of the induction it was very informative and also the training was great. At first during the 2 weeks of training with my mentor it was overwhelming and then once I had been able to branch out by myself I was then able to develop myself further and learn key skills. I have the support of an amazing team who are able to help me with questions if I don't know the answer to it. the managers have been organized and structured with my studying by allowing me the 3+ hours a week for me to do my work towards my diploma in business admin. we have meetings with the way the team works and this allows us to contribute any concerns and changes we think would benefit the team and mentoring as well. the task delegation is what the coordinators have delegated at the start of the day and I think this is very well structured as we are then able to know what we have been assigned to do. I feel my programme from start to finish was extremely well organised in relation to when I was able to do my work and then also do my diploma.
From my training provider I receive a lot of support in relation to my work and also a lot of assistance with the problems I come across with my work, she has also assisted me with my grammar by suggesting i read my work out loud within for me to recognize tenses. she has always had a positive attitude towards working with me and has always supported my positive outlook on my work. I have enjoyed and definitely would like to thank my tutor for her work and support through the process.
I have received a huge amount of support from my managers and coordinators which I would say has defiantly built up my confidence, the Hr team have been great giving me up dates on potential jobs and also updates on what has been going on in the company. there is always an accessibility to support and guidance within my work and time here, they have always been positive with a smile when helping me progress.
the salary meets all my costs and also helps me with additional expenses such as my sports such as my archery and ice hockey which i do after work and of a weekend.
there is always something going on with the opportunities to represent the company within the local community and further away. the company has many initiatives within to expand out brand. when i wasn't working i spend my time building my hobby (Archery) up to its highest classification but also i was at college before working here. i was also developing my love for ice hockey before i started too with the expenses from my previous job .
Yes
I would always recommend ERAC to a friend because the teams are friendly, supportive and most of all a community of all diversities. the other reason why i would recommend the company to a friend is because i have had such a phenomenal experience with the company with the range of training and the working environment is great as we are like family which is why i love working here.
There is only one time I would give and that would be: be yourself and be confident. this is because you are individual and unique, that is the best way to be.
