My role includes doing tasks on the ship floor such as working through produce, freezer or chiller as well as playing a role on the tills. At this point in my apprenticeship I am also starting to do more manager duties.
I have learnt to cope with certain situations. An example would be working with customers & coming to conclusions with them.
I like the apprenticeship as well as the people I work with. Aldi is a good company to work for.
I feel as though they value me well, as I’ve had meetings at head office & have been told theyre looking for us to be future store managers
To begin with, not very well structured as my original company who were taking on the apprenticeship went bust & then I had no idea as to what was going on within my apprenticeship as I had been given no news on the sitstuion of my apprenticeship. However now it has finally picked up, I am happy with how it’s going.
From my trainer of the first company I had, I didn’t have no contact. However with this new company (lifetime) I have had endless amounts of support & my tutor(s) have been in constant contact or have been there as to when I’ve needed them.
I have endless amounts of support from my colleagues & they are always there to help.
For an apprenticeship the wage is very good, however it does get irritating when there are store assistants who’re on more money than me yet have a lot less responsibility. But it has to be expected on an apprenticeship.
I don’t really understand this question.
Yes
I’ve liked working for Aldi. I’ve enjoyed working with the people I do as well as doing what I do. It is also a very rewarding job.
It’s hard to begin with, but you’ll be welcomed with open arms & you’ll soon be having a good time.
