Apprentice field engineer, travelling around exchanges installing and maintaining equipment for customers
I have learned a lot about the telecoms industry and how it all works
I enjoy my work but wish I was moved around so I could learn all aspects of the job
i am often recognised for my hard work
Not very, lack of movement and training. Just put with another engineer for a few weeks then started working by myself
My development coach is fantastic and helps me complete my nvq work to my highest ability
As much as I need
Very good wage for an apprenticeship
Not sure
Yes
Because it is a good well paid job with a good future but certain areas can be badly managed
