  • I am a store assistant in which I help stock shelves, serve customers on a till, help customers on the shop floor and deal with enquiries and customer care.

  • I have learnt better how to deal with the general public, and how to answer effectively. I have improved my strength and knowledge.

  • I enjoy the training programme but it can be challenging, I find it hard to be completely motivated.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Aldi?
  • I feel aldi take you on well and are willing to train you as Long as you’re prepared to put in the work. Aldi values it’s colleagues and does it’s best to cater to everyone’s needs.

  • My programme is well organised in terms with the work set out and I always have good deadlines to meet which keep me on task and motivated.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I receive full support from my training provider as she always helps me in any advice I may need and fully supports me if I have a problem.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is nice and you can go to them if you have a problem however sometimes I struggle to say what’s really on my mind. Also they are motivated to helping me as much as I need.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary is great and I am grateful to receive an increase in pay each year with my company, and it’s great money for my age and apprenticeship.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • I don’t really do anything outside of work related to work except my work booklets which are issued by my assessor and also learning about Aldi more each day. Unsure about this question.

  • Yes

  • Because they’re a great company to work for with great perks


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • Be motivated and completely research Aldi and Aldi’s history. Be positive and determined to work for them as a company.
