Universal banker-opening current account, savings accounts and dealing with lending and mortgages. I also contact customers via email and phone. I cover the main banking hall floor and also help fix banking machines.
Developed existing skills and found the course a good refresher. I find the text book and online resources very helpful. I think it is a better setup than in previous yars as it helps to save paper. It also means that uploading and checking my work is much quicker . I can also use the phone app to upload information to my assignments.
I find it challenging but rewarding. It is nice to have a clear path and goal. I think in the future what I am completing now will look good on my cv and help with career progression. I find the course very structuted and most importnatly relevant to my job.
I feel quite valued. However sometimes i do feel like just another number.
It is very structured and lets me plan monthly and weekly what work I need to complete when. I am happy with the layout of the course. I know exactly what is required from me and this helps me to plan ahead both daily and weekly. I think the online platform is good but not happy that I cannot upload assignments from work.
The support I receive is very good. I review progress weekly with my line manager and keep a weekly record of my learning hours. This is then uploaded to my apprenticeship platform on a monthly basis to enosure Iam completly my 20%on the job leanring time.
I often receive support and review my progress weekly with my line manager. They take an active interest in what I am doing and what I have learnt also on a daily basis. There have been a few teething problems
I find it is adequate. Ive had to rely on family members to loan me the funds to obatin a laptop in order to be able to complete my apprenticehsip course as I cannot uplaod my assignments at work due to system security. This can be quite frustrating at times but I have found ways to overcome this issue.
Yes we receive regular emails regarding opportunities. This could be from helping with work in the commuinty to social events. I dont often participate but enjoy doing so when I can. I also enjoy attending events where I can involve my children and my dog.
Yes
I think there is opportunity for good career progression. I feel that HSBC is a good company to work for with a lot of perks offered. I also think that having a clear structure for progression is also great. I would always recommend hsbc to family and friends having wokrd for them for over 10 years.
To give it your all and be prepered to constantly learn lots of new things.
