  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • On a day to day basis i have many roles but mainly act along side store assistants in completing similar jobs. Aswell as this i train with managers small jobs which i will be required to do when i become a manager.

  • My customer service skills have improved massively since i started the apprenticeship but i have also gained leadership skills and can now confidently give orders where needed.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy coming to work to learn more within this programme ans progress to a higher level.

  • I believe that i was welcomed very well into my new environment and i am a valuable member to the team.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very structured in that im always given a plan on what i am doing and what to do next so i can work individually if need be.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I recieve help when needed from my training provider but my colleagues are also a massive help.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My colleagues and managers are always there for me and happy to help if i need it. They always make sure im comfortable in any task im doing.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The salary i am currently on meets all my costs but i would benefit when my wage rises as this would be a massive help.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • I feel that due to my age opportunities are slightly likited as everywhere expects you to have previous experience. That is where aldi is different and gives you a pathway to start at.

  • Yes

  • Its a good environment to work in as you are always surrounded by helpful kind people who always make you feel welcome.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • Be yourself, but always try your hardest in everything you do and be willing to try new things.
