- Senior Mortgage Consultant - Processing and Telephony role within Mortgage Acquisitions for new mortgage applications - Deal with intermediaries, customers and solicitors to ensure as many applications can reach from an application to a mortgage offer for Buy to Let properties in UK
- Time Keeping and Organisational skills - Project Management - Increased self confidence - Internal training courses - Apprenticeship qualification Level 2
- Very beneficial with my career progression - Learnt new skills and develop existing skills - Increased self esteem - Thoroughly enjoyed it - Gave me increased pride in my role - Thrived having additional responsibilities
- Involved with several tasks and projects - Valued by Line Manager - Difficult for progression as large number of colleagues and several occasions structure has changed within the organisation so difficult to progress
- Training is often given for new skills to be gained and to expand product knowledge - Support is given by all Line Managers - Hierarchy often means the same colleagues are given the development opportunities due to their level or experience
- Enjoyed the entire course - Tutor provided me with increased self confidence - Tutor always had a positive driven attitude towards the course and praised me for my achievements
- Well supported as was granted time off from my daily role to focus on the course - This allowed me to complete Workbooks and schedule meetings with my Tutor - Any problems are addressed quickly however finding the solutions understandably usually take slightly longer as need to meet business needs
- It meets my Travel Costs - Living costs are met however I need to support other members of my family which means I would ideally prefer a higher salary due to this but my own social costs are supported
- Several sports activities and clubs are available within my local community - However, not too keen on sports so if people are unable or unwilling to participate with physical activities there are fewer options to join clubs/teams/classes - Volunteering widely avaliable
Yes
- Would recommend to a friend due to the skills this has taught me - Skills learnt are not just product specific within my role but also social skills that help me with my self confidence, organisation, personal branding and affect all areas of my life - I feel the role is a good stepping stone before progressing onto other areas whether this is within the same sector or different
- Would advise that there are so many activities to involve yourself with within the organisation but they need to use their initiative to apply and put themselves out there - Any opportunity that arises they need to apply for in order to boost their network and become noticed as this is often difficult in a large organisation with several skilled knowledgeable colleagues
