  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme itself is very enjoyable as i am involved in a variety of work and the responsobility that is given to me enables me to develop a lot faster as an individual. • 4. How valued do you feel by Grant Thornton?
  • I feel very valued and do not feel like a simple number in the firm. For a first year school leaver i did not expect the amount of responsilbity and exposure of work that i have recieved and this definetely make me feel like my work is valued.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very well organised on the whole however the rotation aspect of the programme we have been kept in the dark a little which can cause a bit of confusion. The exam side is strcutured perfectly alongside work to ensure we can benefit from enough revision time outside of work.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • We recieve a lot of focused support with our exams however on a one-to-one basis there hasnt been much support on how we are getting along with the apprenticeship. The support is always there if we need it but more regular catch ups with our touchpoint would be better as it would make us more aware of what stages we are at with the programme.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The support we recieve from our employer is excellent and they have a big emphasis on the idea that exams come first. When we have exams on we are given sufficient time to revise outside of work and our workload is checked up on to make sure we are not drowining in work during a stressful time

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary more than meets my costs and is competitive with other companies offering the same programme which is nice to know. The only thing that may be missing about the package is a little help with travel as paying for the train from kent to london every day is something that takes up a large amount of my monthly wage.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are laods of oppurtunities outside of work that our employer encourages us to take part in anf if they are relevent to work then sometimes they even expense the costs.

    9/10

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I have already reccommended Grant Thornton to my friends as it pays a very competitive salary and the culture helps young individuals thrive by giving them responsibility but ensures we are supported outside of work during exam season.
