Working in the Apprenticeship Delivery Team. Supporting the attraction, selection, pre-boarding and on-boarding of Business & Technology apprentices in the UK - with tie ins across Research + Development and Supply Chain. Lead the apprentice digital team.
Have developed many new skills and developed existing ones, including collaboration, organisation and especially leadership skills. These have been learnt through my programme work (project management) as well as on-site training provided by Unilever - not to forget the fantastic on-the-job experience gained from working so closely with different people/teams every day.
Highly enjoy my programme.
I feel highly valued by Unilever. This is done through reviews at different stages of my apprenticeship as well as feedback received from my team + widers teams across the business.
Well organised programme. Smooth induction process and close support from training provider and employment support officer.
Well supported by provider throughout programme.
As an apprentice at Unilever, you are highly supported. Before joining, apprentices will be assigned a buddy to keep in contact with them and make sure they're inducted smoothly. There is also opportunity to have an internal mentor for the duration of the scheme.
My salary covers cost of living very well. However, as I live so close to the office, I do not have to pay for public transport.
Many pre-conceptions of opting for an apprenticeship over university would be that you miss out on a social life, this just isn't the case! There are many nights out/fun activities organised by community teams across our many offices, there's always something to do + fun stuff to get involved with!
Yes
Choosing an apprenticeship over University has been totally the right decision for me and I haven't looked back.
Be yourself, Be yourself, Be yourself.
