Mechanical engineer, performing walkarounds to check equipment daily, performing routine maintanence on equipment ( pumps, motors, pressure vessels, autoclaves)
many new skills such as on the tols experience, an in depth knowledge of how the site operates, how a business operates, how machinery works together and how to increase efficiency. lots of external courses to ensure safety and knowledge to do jobs
exceded my expectations form a company, very independent with guided learning and hands on experience!company has long lying history within the site and it is very family orientated in the sence that everybody has a loyalty to the comany
extremely! staff and others around are always supporting and encouraging which creates a healthy work environment to learn in
structure is very efficient, one day at college and then 4 days at work, this is a block of 4 working days so you get to see big jobs as thery are done over a mater of days
enough to keep me working hard
enough to keep the working day flowing, this allows me to excel in all areas of my apprentiship as we have weekly meetings as a group of apprentices and learn form each other and then have one - one meetings to address any issues
in the first few months was a bit of an adjustment but the company helped me budget the money and gave me training on how to manage my money better so has become alot easier as time has gone on
plenty of out of work opportunity to learn diffetrent life skills necessary for a working life
Yes
because it has such an amazing prospect for your life and creates more opportunities than you could believe! gives you the chance to travel and work anywhere in the world if that's what you want to do
just apply! if you have a passion for doing hands on working or even if you want to have a great prospect for life then you wont ever look back once you've joined!
