My role is as a finance apprentice and my day-to-day role involves third party vendor management.
I have learnt multiple, technical new skills to do with finance but also developed my interpersonal skills and confidence levels
At the moment I really enjoy my programme as I am learning new skills every day and the team is very 'together'
My manager does give me useful feedback and involves me in multiple high profile tasks
I think the programme is well structured however due to some role changes this has not been as smooth as I believe it could be
I am usually the one pushing for support and it can take a long time for them to revert back to me
My manager supports me a lot with my exams and coursework as she has the knowledge to help
Living costs are temporarily high due to circumstances away from my control but overall the salary is good
Area few opportunities in terms of apprentice meet ups etc but none seem to be that close to where I am
Yes
GSK is an amazing company where you feel valued even as an apprentice. The company helps you unlock your potential by different challenges every day.
The application process is changing so I cant comment on the new style but I presume assessment days will be the same and these always require some training before hand. After that, the on boarding is so easy and well managed by GSK.
