Serving customers, putting out stock, customer service skills, money accountability, rotation skills.
I have developed my customer service skills, working in aldi has enhanced any previous training and skills I had and therefore helped me develop them further, I have dealt with customers working in this role and resolved issues I hadn’t had experience with prior to this role. I have also learnt new skills in this job role such as stock rotation and many other things.
I enjoy being an aldi apprentice it gives me more opportunities then I would have had otherwise, it’s a very interesting course and helps me develop the skills required on my route to management.
My store managers, colleagues and my area manager all make me feel as a valued part of the team, they genuinely care about how I’m doing and are always available to offer help
There is a timeline of my course which helps me know what I have left to achieve and I meet with my tutor to complete my work very often
I receive a huge amount of support from my trainer with the course and my onsite trainer, they are both always available for whenever I need assistance and happy enough to provide it.
I get a large amount of support from my in store team and my area manager, my trainer in store who helped me get to where I am today helped me a great deal along my journey this far in my apprenticeship. Everyone is always willing to lend a hand.
As I am 20 years old I am intact currently on more than the government national minimum wage, therefore I am better off working and going towards my apparenticeship then to get any job just to pay the bills, next year when I’m on my second year I will have more than enough to meet my costs.
There are lots of sports events going on and always way to help earn money for charity!

You need to be committed to your role if you want to work for Aldi, it’s hard work but it’s worth it! If your looking for an easy life this is not the job for you! You will never be bored! Probably the best job I’ve ever had!
