We were integrated into the company straight away, which is what I felt was so special about the experience, the level of responsibility assigned almost instantly.
My time at EY has helped me develop all of my skills massively, from people related abilities to more technical skills such as using specific programs
I loved every second of the program, I felt it had exactly the right balance between an introduction into the firm, actual relevant and engaging work and a very nice social life with other scholars
With individually assigned buddies and councillors I felt that the scheme genuinely had the needs of the scholars as their priority even down to a personal level.
As I was the very first year of the programme, it is hard to judge the organisation and structure, however from what I did experience everything ran perfectly smoothly.
I received on hand support whenever I required in addition to weekly catch up meetings with a designated EY councillor.
I thought the company were extremely generous with their salary, allowing the scholars to maintain a very high standard of living during the summers in london
We had ample opportunities outside work, particularly through the company associations, for example I played rugby for the EY team after work, allowing me to network with other employees.
Yes
I think the combination of the firm's prestige, culture and support make it an extremely attractive place to work.
Try to ask as many questions as possible and be confident because the people who work there genuinely are as nice as they seem and are willing to help with anything providing it is a reasonable situation.
