Lots very intense learning in both university and the training academy in Eakring, Nottingham. This is both theory and technical learning.
I have gained a lot of knowledge in the Power Engineering Ind, especially as to where my company sits in the industries and all the rules and regulations that apply to be able to carry out work.
It's a very intense course so it's hard to sit back and take enjoyment out of it. The practical and on-site work are my most favorable aspects of this apprenticeship.
Not very valued as we are not able to carry out much work that is of use to National Grid as we are in our 1st year of our traineeship.
Not very well organized, we have a lot of important assessments all at one time, this amounts to a lot of pressure being put on us. The assessments could be spread out relieving pressure and giving us more time to concentrate on one maybe two things at one time.
Moderate amount of support. More support from certain individuals.

Reasonably well
Not many as I am on a training scheme so there is no opportunities outside of work for me.
Yes
It's a company that will always provide a stable job where if you wish to progress the company will support you in doing so. The training provided is very good.
Be prepared to give up a lot of your free time if you want to succeed in passing the scheme that I am currently undertaking.
