I am currently at the end of my first year, mostly so far I have been at college full time, only being at the Rolls Royce plant during holidays.
Our programme got of to a very slow start, involving not having teachers for long periods of term. So for that reason I haven't really meant learnt much so far.
I have mostly enjoyed the programme, making new friends along the way. Not having teachers and being very unsure on what we are doing up at times has been frustrating but it has mostly been fun.
At this point, I struggle to answer this as we've been at college full time, almost like we've had nothing to do with BMW group.
The programme so far has been very badly organised. College has been a struggle as we haven't had teachers for very long periods of time (which isn't really BMW s fault but more the colleges).
Support has been average, like I've said in other sections, we haven't always had people there to help.
Support from our employer has been fairly good, our manager often checks what's happening at college and sees how we're doing.
Our salary is very good and excelles my costs .
I don't quite understand this question but I'd say yes there is.
Yes
Cause an apprenticeship with such a big company leads to many places, start from the bottom and work up.
Get involved with motor related things, show evidence for that and your passion. Confidence doesn't have to be key but it sure helps .
