my job role was Apprentice Account Executive, where my daily tasks were to develop relationships with existing customers and also to sell Softcat as an IT supplier to new customers, a lot of this was over the phone and email with some of it being face to face in meetings. internally I took part in team meetings where we discussed trends within education etc.
we got lots of training on sales techniques and also more technical training to help our understanding
