My role is to maximise sales on the products we sell and to provide excellent and helpful customer service to our customers as well daily.
I have learnt many new skills during my time here, such as being more confident, developing organisational, time management skills and also how to work within a team more effectively as well. It's also taught me how to work quickly and efficiently also.
I enjoy my programme because it's very satisfying. It's taught me new skills and characteristics, that have helped me grown into a more serious and focused person. So overall it's benefitted me personally and career wise also.
I feel very valued. They are always looking for ways to support me and help me improve on points that I may not be strong at. Makes me very proud to be apart of such a fantastic company.
My programme is well organised and structured. It helps you develop in a steady pace and teaches you about different sectors within my job role.
I receive a lot of support. They help me with my work and anything that may struggle with or not understand. Yet they also encourage me when I feel like I'm not doing great. Overall they're very inspirational.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, I know they want the best for the company and push me to be the best that I can be, they have taught me many different things in my role and can empathise with issues.
My salary meets my costs very well. It covers necessities and responsibilities but also allows some leftover for myself as well.
There are few opportunities outside of work, such as meeting other apprentices to gain new insights and to meet new people. Yet also understanding more about the business as well.
Yes
Overall Aldi is a great company to work for. Great pay, the staff are friendly and supportive to one another. Yet also, they put their staff first, alongside their customers.
It's an intense job and there are times where you may struggle, but it's one of the most worthwhile jobs out there. Once you get past that, you can accomplish anything. Confidence and resilience are key.
