My role in Aldi involves ensuring stock is always out for customers to purchase and is rotated correctly so the food is always in date for them. Also to help any customers with any queries or help that they need when they visit the store.
I've developed certain skills when doing Aldi these are being fast and accurate when putting stock out also my communication skills have improved when being on till serving customers. The job has also helped me learn how to use certain equipment which are skills I have had before.
As I am new can't really say how much I'm enjoying it as I've only just begun but I'm loving the job so far and hopefully this will be the same with the apprenticeship scheme as it is a great company to work for and I'm having fun working there!
Very valued, everyone treats me as if I'm part of there family if I'm ever stuck with any problems or issues they will always do there best to help me out and make me feel welcome there.
From what I've seen so far it is very well organised and is good the way it's all set up very simple to use and to proceed through the modules and to always see where I am in my training.
I have all the support I need from my training provider, if I'm ever in need of help I have there contact details to ask them any questions or queries that I may have.
I have the utmost support from my employer, when I need time off the floor to do apprenticeship work he's always willing to let me do it.
The package I'm on for an apprenticeship scheme compared to most wages is incredibly good and is perfectly fine with me as to how much pay me fits me just fine.
There are a few opportunities outside of work to get more hours and to do other stuff but it is very limited due to certain problems but it doesn't affect me
