At work, my current role as store apprenticeship includes working & organising stock. Working fresh deliveries can include chiller, freezer, produces and ambient goods. In addition, it is my role to serve customers on the till and to satisfy any queries or concerns they may have. I also ensure that the shop floor looks clean and tidy by cleaning up any mess or card that’s left on the floor.
In my opinion, I have drastically improved my confidence and communication skills. I feel more confident when interacting with customers and now use these skills outside of the work place. I have also developed situational awareness skills & how to deal with upset or aggravated customers.
I am very happy with the apprenticeship programme as it has already provided me with lots of key skills that I use daily. I enjoy the task of working efficiently and effectively in order to meet deadlines / times.
I feel that Aldi values me and the work that I provide. They also offer me with lots beneficial schemes.
At the beginning of my apprenticeship programme, my tutor often failed to turn up to to organised meetings in order to exchange work and monitor progress on my work. However, after changing to a new personal tutor the structure of the promgramne greatly improved and I was then able to progress significantly with my coursework.
As previously stated, I have been provided with excellent support after switching to a new personal trainer.
I am provided with lots of support from my employer. They often answer any questions or concerns I may have.
I feel that the updated apprenticeship salary satisfies my costs.
The Aldi Apprenticeship scheme provides me with excellent qualifications and skills that can be used outside of the work place. The managerial skills learnt throughout the job will help improved organisational skills in every day to day life. The qualifications can also help progress to other exciting opportunities outside of the work place such as organising events.
Yes
Aldi is an excellent employer that provides excellent training to their staff. As well as this, they value the hard work provided by their staff
I would advise applicants to be themselves and to always push yourself in order to stand out. This shows enthusiasm and a great work ethic.
