As an apprentice in mechatronics, I look after paint robots on a day-to-day basis, checking them before production starts and fix and log errors when they occur.
I have learnt to weld, mill and lathe.
I find that my limited involvement with the robots limits my enjoyment.
Realistically I feel like I hold very little value and even with evidence backing it up my opinion is discounted very easily.
Organisation of my apprenticeship has been very poor through both Rolls-Royce and the college I attend.
Very little. The college is extremely disorganised and does nothing to act on issued I may have.
Whilst organisation is an issue, my employer are good at acting on issues.
My salary is very good for an apprenticeship.
Not that I am aware of.
Yes
Despite my issues with my apprenticeship, other more well established apprenticeships are greatly successful.
Apply for an apprenticeship at Chichester university rather than Chichester college.
