At EY we were given projects and case studies to deal with and manage while also presenting our ideas and themes to the EY bosses, this also included how we can improve the economy and trade deals. we also took notes and evaluated and even analysed speakers from different firms and companies to see how EY helps and relates to these independent and very unique businesses and firms.
From my EY experience i have learnt how to work in a team and was guided through the team building experience. I also learnt how to develop my speaking and communication skills
i thoroughly enjoyed my EY experience and am proud to say that I've made friends for life and skills that will last me a lifetime. The company itself has provided so much support and help through my experience and the programme has effectively helped me in my daily life and i know the experience will help me in my future endeavors.
EY definitely makes me feel like im part of something greater, the whole company creates a very welcoming atmosphere. As a student, being so valued means a lot.
my programme was extremely organised and very structured which was extremely helpful and i'm thankful for how apparent the programme itself was. From the very first day EY were able to provide answers to all our questions and provided clear and coherent instructions as to what we were going to do in the days to come.
My training provider has helped me so much in developing my confidence and has guided me and advised me in what the best next step for me would be. i received a great amount of support from my training provider and they have helped ma and constantly checked up on me to see how i'm doing and if i needed any help at all which was magnificent and much appreciated.
i received a huge amount of support from my employer, they were constantly making sure we were all on track and impressively my employer was extremely thoughtful and could understand our individual situations. Not only this, but my employer also made sure our experience was top notch and answered any queries or questions we had for them
my salary was extremely generous and definitely accommodated and met the costs of daily travel and the daily commute to the workplace, the salary also helped my living costs and simultaneously helped with any educational costs I needed to pay and use.
i would definitely sat that there are many many opportunities outside of work, EY have remained in contact with me and have offered endless opportunities to train and volunteer and different companies, they have invited many people to company events and company activities which also creates a very welcoming atmosphere.
Yes
EY has helped me in so many ways, they've taught me not only how to become more confident in my speaking skills but have also helped me improve my team building skills. EY have opened my eyes to the real world and what its like to work in one of the worlds 4 leading and main financial companies
my tip for those wanting or are still unsure as to if they should apply to EY is to take this chance that you have and never let it go because its an experience of a lifetime and it really gives you a feel for how people in these huge and developed companies really work and what financial work really entails.
