My role is mainly working within audit teams on external audit engagements. This involves the testing of a selection of financial areas and offers the opportunity for travelling to lots of different places to visit clients.
I have enhanced my team work skills, client facing skills and have worked towards obtaining a professional qualification.
My programme has been diverse and has given me the opportunity to learn lots of new things and meet lots of new people. The programme is intense at times but overall is rewarding.
Within audit teams I feel that there is appreciation for work contributed.
The programme is well thought out and the exams are placed at reasonable times.
The tutors at University are always keen to help.
People Managers, Buddys and peer groups are all a support network at work.
The salary is appropriate.
There are some student accountant events, sporting clubs and volunteering opportunities.
