My role is within a data and insights team, I am responsible for the processing and cleansing data we receive weekly, I am involved in the van sales project which I am the lead for from a data perspective, also I am the lead for all things London from a reporting/insights point of view, I also deal with requests from the outer team which means I am able to communicate with a wide range of people within different types of roles.
I have been able to develop many skills at my time at Unilever. I feel my communication/people skills have improved massively, I have learnt through doing the colour scheme workshop the different ways you should communicate with different types of people, also I have been able to under take excel courses internally which have helped me in my day to day role
I enjoy the programme massively, I feel I challenge myself every day, which keeps me motivated, also from a social perspective I work with a great bunch of people and really enjoy my time with them
I feel Unilever treats their apprentices with a lot of respect, and this is shown as you are given a lot of responsibility within your role and you're given opportunities to own projects which makes me feel valued
With the programme setting deadlines consistently it enables the process to be structured and helps me plan my time in advance,
My provider is always open for any questions and is helpful on our consistent monthly meetings
My Team is very supportive, any questions I have are always answered, my manager always checks up with me on my workload and offers support when needed
The salary I receive is good relative to my costs as I do not need to spend on travel, and I also live at home so I feel the salary is enough to also my social costs
There are many events out of work, our team have a weekly softball team, there are quarterly events within the team, and also many social occasions throughout the year.
