Job title: Associate. On a day to day basis, I travel to client site and work within a team. I spend a significant amount of the day interacting both internally within the PwC team and also externally with the client.
I have developed my global acumen, business acumen, technical capabilities, leadership and relationships.
I have completed the fourth year of my programme, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time both at university and on placements.
The programme is very well organised and structured. We have interaction with both PwC and Icaew throughout our time at university. We have training at the beginning of each placement. We also have structured contact points with the university whilst we are on placement.
We receive lots of support whereby we have a buddy, flying start champion and people manager whilst on placement. In addition, we have a personal tutor at university who we also keep in touch with whilst on placement.
There is plenty of support available from PwC. There are peer group meetings and also people manager meetings where you can raise any problems.
Travel costs can be expensed when travelling to client site. In addition, whilst on placement we are provided with accommodation.
There are lots of socials and opportunities for volunteering within the office. There are also many charity events and sports events within the office.
