I am an analyst in a Programme Management Office team in Deloitte (PMO). This invovles me tracking the progress of projects, dealing with action trackers, risk logs, and assisting the management of project plans. With my role I am in frequent contact with high key stakeholders of projects, updating them with the status of the project.
I have developed brilliant Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Project, and Powerpoint. I have also developed my communication skills, my confidence has grown so much over the last two years working at Deloitte.
I really enjoy this programme as it allows you to have the working life and the university life at the same time. This course motivates me as I feel it has put me in a brilliant position to really go far in my career. I have also gained alot of very valuable relationships from working in Deloitte, which makes working here very enjoyable.
I do feel valued by Deloitte. If you do a good job it wont go unnoticed, and people will always thank you for doing a great job. We have awards systems also that make you feel very appreicated, you can get nominated by your team members.
The brightstart Scheme is well organised. All of the university modules are relevant to what we are doing work wise in the office. We have assigned buddies to speak to when we need help. We also have Dean's which help us with things related to university. For all of our exams in university we have, there are dedicated study leave days.
Theres alot of support within Deloitte. All of my managers are very willing to help out or talk about issues we may be having, as they are aware that going into a business straight from school can be daunting and they are understanding of this.
We recieve alot of help and guidance, there is a very good team ethos in the office and everyone is very keen on helping others.
The salary we recieve from Deloitte is good. Providing that they also pay for our university tuition fee's, I feel that we get paid quite well.
Deloitte is involved with multiple charities, and this often leads to many fundraisers being held outside of work. There are many events you can get involved in ie marathons, mud runs etc
Yes
Deloitte is all round a very good company to work for. They are a very large but very personal company. They treat their employees very well and working here is very enjoyable!
Do research around the area that you are applying for and make sure its right for you.
