Job Title - Associate - Assurance Government and Public Sector Job involves - completing audit work(checking figures within financial statements) in relation to Government companies interacting with colleagues and clients. I work on a variety of clients and am responsible for completing my work by the national deadlines.
I have obtained my certificate level qualification in accountancy and have regular training for updates within the industry and within EY as a company.
I enjoy working with a variety of clients and also with a variety of colleagues.
There are various internal recognition procedures in place and managers value the work performed by their teams.
The programme is very well structured with a comprehensive progression route. There are regular meetings with you manager regarding your progress and a well organised training programme.
Most training is provided either annually which is well structured or external qualification training.
The support is there from you manager, team members and other colleagues.
Currently living at home with minimal outgoings and therefore, the salary currently meets my costs.
There are many committees and other opportunities available including sports and social events and also secondments.
