In the first 2 weeks we did team building activities and group tasks to get to know each other. We also completed a level 2 CMI qualification through my 3 week work experience. We did taska like dragons den challenges and creative thinking. The CMA also came and talked about the options available for future careers and options for apprenticeships or university. On the last week I got to shadow the procurement team where I learnt how to write reports and I had to prepare a presentation to the chief procurement officer
The skills I have learnt throughout this process is that my confidence has increased tremendously. This opportunity allowed me to talk and present to a huge audience and I have developed my public speaking skills as well. I have also enhanced my team work skills as throughout the work experience there were times where communication skills were vital
This programme was an amazing experience and I’m very glad I was able to be part of it. I have learnt many new skills and it has helped me decide what future career plans I would like to take.
I feel that I was valued greatly. EY nominated me for the best young employee of the year 2017 and I won this title. I am very lucky that EY has given me this opportunity to show what I am capable of
The programme was very organised as every day we had something new and different to do.

The salary I received was good and I appreciate it as I lived outside of London and everyday travel was 1hour 45 mins and the start covered all these expenses
I believe that there are many opportunities outside work and by exploring your pathways you will be able to access all the relevant information
